(a) a body corporate which has, or which is a member of the same group as an undertaking which has, a called-up share capital or net assets of not less than—

(i) if the body corporate has more than 20 members or is a subsidiary undertaking of an undertaking which has more than 20 members, £500,000;
(ii) otherwise, £5 million;

(b) any unincorporated association or partnership which has net assets of not less than £5 million;

(c) the trustee of a high value trust;

Welcome to The Climate Marketplace, where investors can connect with climate change start-ups across the globe. To access and view details of the start-ups, you simply need to go to our website; in doing so you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use our site. If you want to get in touch with a start-up, we need to set a few more terms and conditions. We have made two versions of the legal terms: ‘The Short Version’ which gives you an overview and ‘The Long Version’ which provides more detail. This should, we hope, make the terms easier to digest!

The Short Version

This section is a summary of the terms and conditions which govern your use of the interactive features of the website at climate-marketplace.com (“the Marketplace” or “the site”). The full version of these terms and conditions (which you should also read) is set out below (under the heading “The Long Version”) but the following paragraphs set out the essential information you will need to start using the site.

The Marketplace

Marketplace allows start-ups to provide information about themselves and their activities on the site and facilitates the exchange of further information with registered users of the site. Investor Marketplace does not approve, moderate, check or verify the completeness or accuracy of the information on the Marketplace and has no influence or control over information exchanged between start-ups and users as a result of contact through the site.

The fact that a start-up appears on the Marketplace does not necessarily indicate that Investor Marketplace endorses the product or service it supplies. We make no warranties or representations in respect of any of the products or services appearing on the Marketplace.

Except where required by law, Investor Marketplace accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of information on the site and exchanged as a result of accessing it.  If you have any concerns about material which appears on the site, please contact info@thegreentechpreneur.com.

Your Use of the Marketplace

By using the site, you confirm that:

You will not share your login details (including any passwords) with anyone else.
You are happy for the Climate Marketplace Team to use data collected about you in connection with your involvement with the work of Investor Marketplace (and/or any of Investor Marketplace’s partner organisations) provided that we do so in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
